This is funny ! Turkish police didn't let me to pass the ledra gate !

AS you all know , we had a meeting about discussing how to manage groups and collect tiles on thursday . Cagdas *BL J 08 and I travelled from Famagusta to get there . When we got to the ledra palace they didnt let us to pass . They told us that our papers which had our parents' signatures on them that gave us the permission to cross the border were not up to date -- their dates was open they were useable until 31st of december they said the law had changed! and made us walk up to the other gate… Continue

I felt powerful

While i was filling the application form to become a peer i felt very powerful . All of you all the bold leaders have put soooo much things in me and helped me to create myself . I want to acknowledge all of you for being who you are , for being unique and for making differences .

I wanted to connect with you about the tiles. You probably know much more than I do, I wanted to get a confirmation that you or someone you know of will be bringing the tiles to either:

We need to have all the tiles together so one monday morning we can start on the mosaic. Please let me or Jen know if you will be delivering tiles or if you know who is.

Great!!!! I will look forward to seeing you there. I presume you are coming to the workshops as well? I am thrilled you will NOT be in school then! Will you show us some Famagusta sights? - Ian and I that is. I am not certain yet how long Michael is staying. We will make plans during the workshop time?

I get to see you SOON!!!!!!!!!
I am soooooo excited to FINALLY go to Cyprus! After working with and Loving so many Cypriots it will be amazing for me to be there! After the workshops and installation Ian and I will stay in Cyprus for one week as "tourists". We want to go to Famagusta and I wondered if you or Cagdas would be willing to have us stay with one of you? For me the opportunity to be with a family is much more meaningful than being in a hotel. I also have a friend there who teaches at the University - Music Marc Haag - he may have us stay with him but I would RATHER have a TSC family experience if possible. (Hey Sila, another question - Would Cypriots find this question WEIRD? - you will tell me straight up right? I would not want to be culturally out of place.) Either way we MUST get together in your home town so you can show me around!!!!! I will have a rental car. Hugs and love, Jen
