Short cut keys in Windows...

ctrl-n opens a new window
ctrl-t opens a new tab in the browser
ctrl-c copies your highlighted text
ctrl-v pastes it into an editor
alt-tab switches windows
ctrl-f will enable you to search for words within a page

ctrl-arrow (right or left) moves the cursor 1 word at a time, and ctrl-shift-arrow moves the cursor and highlights the text as you go (very good for copy and paste).

ctrl-click on a link will enable a popup (even when there is a popup blocker)
right-click on a link will open a menu with an open in other window or tab option
